According to the review I'm watching. No. Romance someone and all other options stop

With all the inclusivity this one group of people still gets ignored. Wonder why, well untill i think which other group might like that option and then the ideology behind keeping it out shows.

There was a review that said once you lock romance in with someone, that's it. You cannot break up, you cannot change partner and every character you flirted with is now just your friend with no hint of anything romantic at all and they all forget that you flirted

Usually how Bioware games work is that you can romance everyone up to a point where the games make you choose who to be with.

Nope I am pretty sure if you lock in with someone then the other characters seem to pair up (Or this is how Bioware make it sound)

Yeah...most of the review was solid, but that point seemed a little unfair. Bioware romances have worked like that since Mass Effect 2. Its never been much beyond "hit sex dialogue option for the sex"

It ain't like Owlcat RPGs, where you have to perform advanced psychoanalysis irl to figure out what dialogue option is gonna lead to a good time.
Although I agree with you that romances in DA were always easy to achieve, at the very least you could always two-time, ditch your current romance and hook up with someone else or just break up and that's it. This game apparently doesn't allow for any of that. I guess the devs are so progressive they went back in time when you couldn't get divorce that easy.
