darkspawn reworked?

I got to say, i saw Wolfhearts review, he has always been fair and unbiased. I noticed that the darkspawn have been reworked and honestly, they look terrible in this game. Cartoonish. He didnt show much but with the darkspawn rework alone, i am starting to worry about how much did the new bioware change.

I do have to agree the theme for Dragon Age has gone really far from it's original game. I don't know why so many fantasy games are leaning into the "Magick the gathering" kind of art style that all looks the same. OG dragon age had this sort of grimy and gory look to a lot of its settings and themes. It's a little too sterile now.

Yeah the tone of the game seems to be the biggest complaint out of everything.

This game is very bright, fluffy, and lacks "grit".

Other than that I'm gonna do what i always do with games nowadays and wait a couple days for performance reviews. If the game barely functions or runs i'll wait for it to get fixed. I have a rig that can power through most bad optimization and still get 60fps at 4k max settings (with DLSS), but even then some games come out where even that isn't possible lol.

Only other issue that bothers me is the qunari foreheads. What the hell was the art team even thinking... like holy crap. I predict a mod fixing the foreheads to be among the first to be made because it's almost criminal on how bad they are lmao.
