Dragon Age Origins The Best Game Ever Made - Fextralife
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1W9McRJ-po

I totally agree with Fextralife. And he makes this amazing video after not receiving the access code to give his objective opinion of Veilguard. WolfheartFPS is not going to be able to give his opinion right before the launch either. WolfheartFPS is a sincere and noble-hearted guy, and not at all political or toxic, who is not on youtube for money. I bought the game right after his initial review. Because it was objective. I didn't trust (nor do I trust now) those who say that everything is perfect and have their eyes covered more than Neve. WolfheartFPS said he was optimistic but cautious, and that he wanted to play it.
It's clear that Bioware wants to remain in an echo chamber. It's a shame that despite all the talent in that company, there are still people who continue to make inexplicable decisions.

Lol this video is clear Bait ... as he is taunting the viewers
but it does have good points.

Every video has a bit of Bait in it. Youtubers have to make a living somehow.

Fextralife didn't get a code? Wow.
I think he was one of those who didn't get the code. WolfheartFPS certainly did not. And I bought the game after his review. He said he wanted to keep playing.

Being at that capture event was never a guarantee you'd have a review code, where is that narrative even coming from ?
This is not a narrative. It is WolfheartFPS himself who says that he was not given the code.

I don't know the other reviewers. WolfheartFPS is a channel I follow. And even though I bought the game, I would have liked to see his review, that's all.

And there's something worse than bad publicity. And that's no publicity.

As one that just finished Origins and Awakening, no it is not the best game ever made. It was a very good game for its time back in 2009, but very held back by its very clunky movement and combat system. World design, characters, and writing were pretty good and I really enjoyed my time in Ferelden.

But the amount of times I get stuck on stairs and random bits of geometry was really frequent. Or being in combat, right clicking on an enemy to attack and having my warden just stand there staring.

Also fextralife kekw
It's a game that marked a before and after. I enjoyed playing Baldur's Gate 3 like a child, for example, but I know that it wouldn't have been possible without games like Dragon Age and Baldur's Gate 1 and 2. Which paved the way.

That's hardly right, you can't say for sure and I don't either, but still.

DAO could never have release, not sure it would have change anything. For BG1&2 it's probably another affair.

The point is DAO failed influence the big Industry, and RTwP failed evolve properly out of Bioware.

There's been BG1&2, FO1&2, KOTOR, just for Bioware side. And the list is longer with other dev and before BG3. There's no need of DAO.
Dragon Age and Baldur's Gate had something special. And FO and Kotor, although good games, are not medieval fantasy.

Well yea. Company has the same name, but the employees are different and the target audience is different.

You might wanna check out Exodus if you haven't already. It's being made by the original Bioware guys.

And by all accounts thus far its not very good.
Based on what? Your imagination or feelings?

And I've also been stuck on the stairs, especially in the Wizard Tower, what a pain. Furthermore, now it crashes every now and then. But it's a game from 2009 that they've abandoned. They should fix it, or make a modern edition with the Dragon Age trilogy, like Mass Effect. That would give The Veilguard a lot of good publicity
