Optional companion recruitment
Will it be like in Inquisition where you could decide if a companion will be recruited or not (We had Cass, Solas and Varric but the rest were optional)? If we are forced to have everyone can we just park them somewhere to never interact with them again? Some of them personally feel unlikable and want to know if I will be forced to interact with them the entire game. No offence or anything pls don't cancel me.

You're going to be on your knees for Varric

You will be forced to have Sex with them all and listen to all the gay Storys, BioWare will show you how to be tolerant and open minded

I will trade all of those new companions to have Varric back as one instead.

What if my character identifies as asexual? That would be not very inclusive.

They stated that you can actually anger companion to the point they will leave for a while, but because the Ancient gods are such a threat, they will return to fight in the final battle regardless of whether they like you or not because they will fight to save Thedas. This was something the developers stated a long time ago. So, I do not think any companion can not be recruited, however, you can make them angry or cause them to be injured based on your choices you make as their leader.

If it was the grimdark fantasy game I wish it to be, I'd be able to betray and kill off companions that I don't like. But it looks like you're forced to sing and dance with them.

Bioware nowadays: "We made these diverse and inclusive companions and you have to get along with them! They're all important."
