God of War Veilguard ?
Hi guys just watched Neon Knights impressions video for this and its not good news,
seems like they have made this more of an cartoonly action adventure game than a Dragon Age game.
I could go on but i think anyone thinking of buying this , thinking its a traditional DA game better watch it,
Sorry i don't know how to link the video, but perhaps somebody can. its very interesting watching from a seasoned DA player giving an entirely honest take on it

You're an epitome of wit, aren't you.

Anyway as somebody who has played Dragon Age games since DAO I'm fully walking into the game knowing what it is. To me GoW (2018) gameplay was more engaging than whatever half-breed Inquisition tried so it's an improvement on that side to their previous game. Gameplay itself was never why I played DAO and DA2, tho I have beaten both on Nightmare, but rather the story so I often just automated gameplay with tactics.

GoW (2018) gameplay and the game is general is much better then this slop DA Failguard.
They do not even come close.
I mean that largely depends on their encounter design and how responsive the controls are. We don't really know about that until actual reviews come out or if you actually play it.

Game succeed due to story/characters.
Just like Dragon Age Origins, a game nobody played or liked due to its combat.

When did 'modern' become synonymous with bad?

Fromsoftware hold my beer: there you have a 2009 combat system, with a 1997 customisation

your argument is invalid

For a game nobody liked, it sure ended up with a few sequels :CleaningHabitat:

Origins sold 3.2 million copies
Inquisition sold 12 million copies

Can't find a good number on DA2 other than it sold 1m in its first 2 weeks

I will simply skip this game for the art style.

When he said that the combat is God of War inspired I got hyped af. God of War (2018) and Ragnarok are two of my favorite games in the past decade.
