How will this carry over choices from previous games?
Do we know yet?

Will it be a save import from Inquisition or something separate like the Keep?

If i remember correctly its just 3 decisions - thats all.
For the most part, they won't. Only 3 choices from Dragon Age Inquisition are carried over - the rest of the cannon (choices you made in Origins and 2) is completely sidestepped and ignored on purpose so as not to have to deal with it from the developer side.

Source was various YT videos, so take that with a pinch of salt, but it wouldn't surprise me if this proved to be the case.

Hmm, considering just how many choices there are across the 3 games it kinda makes sense. Shame they couldnt do a proper save import from Inquisition

Not sure how this makes sense to you, Bioware is suppose to be a AAA studio, and why even bother with having save imports/decision imports for all three games only to sideline 99% of the choices in the newest entry?
Have you looked at how many variables are in an Inquistion save? Just about every one from DAO and DA2, if they cant do a save import im not sure how else they could do it....it would take hours going through all of them...even the Keep didnt use all choices

Of course they should do a save import but they arent
It won't.

You want Varric to remember Hawke? He won't

You want Dorian to remember your inquisitor? He won't.

You want Morrigan to have a kid? She won't.

They've permanently destroyed world states.

I think its because they want you to forget the previous games existed, they don't want attention on Dragon Age Origins and 2, because when you compare them to DAV, DAV just looks like garbage compared to those 2. They are basically in a echo chamber trying to pretend those 2 games didn't exist. At least this is how it looks like to most people anyway.

Have you seen how they were able to do this for Dragon Age II & III and also for Mass Effect 2 & 3? This is Bioware's thing, the fact this no longer being done proves this is no longer the Bioware people knew, they're trying to sell this game on Bioware's name and reputation but they're just a shallow copy of what they were.
