Does this game have finishing moves like Origins?
Any cool finishing animations in this game?

Look at how he executes his enemies like a pretty butterfly, or with the shield that dosent properly connect with the enemy.

The finishing moves are pretty awesome, the cut-scene combat looks really good as well.

Are you contractually obligated to take issue with every little thing in this game or
Are you honestly gonna say those animations look good? and since they are executing animations you will likely be seeing them A LOT.

Thats not a small issue, and it bodes terribly if THOSE are the animations bioware where proud of putting into the trailer.

Looked cool to me mate. There are a few animation issues I have with what I've seen here and there, but this isn't one of them.
Origins was a crpg and bioware then went through the trouble of creating diferent animations for bigger enemies just soo the atacks would look like they connected. New bioware cant even do that, and the animations also look lower quality and stupid compared to a game from 2009. Wich again, was a cprg soo animations feeling like they connected wasnt nearly as important as an action rpg.

Your subjective opinion has been noted.

Fun fact - that matters to you. And not other people. Good thing you're not buying the game right? But be more obsessed with this game. You're not wasting anybody's time but your own.

"God, those hours spent on the Dragon Age forums sure were well spent. F'ing hated that woke game, but I sure owned those nerds by being a debbie downer. Can't wait for the next game I don't like to come out so I can waste more time harping on that game instead of playing a game I enjoy. Woo-wee, I'm such a bundle of joy. And people love being around me."

xoxo
At least i would have only wasted my time, unlike you who wasted time defending it plus your money LMAO.

… To answer your question, yes, and it’s a full fleshed mechanic now! This game has a mechanic called Stagger where a purple meter fills up on all enemies, and when it fills completely, you can do a finishing move on the enemy (sometimes this is just a lot of damage rather than a kill on the stronger enemies). Warriors are the best class for dealing Stagger, with the Slayer specialization focusing on it.

Sorry the hate war is making it difficult to get information. The animations seem cool for most of the kills I’ve seen (the one in the trailer does look lame especially from the angle they shot it). It’s a bit more over the top in Veilguard than Origins, to match the theming they’re going for now with it being more action.
