Game is very well done. The attention to detail is what really gets me. That and the world design. So much packed in. My pc has no business running ultra 4k at a solid 60fps, yet it does. Very cool. Not sure what all this woke people are saying is being thrown at you. Same with the story. It is pretty good, made better by excellent voice work. I hate how a couple of bad accents break immersion. So far having a blast.

The lighting and shading are really well done as well. I play on an oled so I can appreciate the contrast.

Bought an e7. That is an lg 65 on glass. Cost about 4500CAD back in 2018 but i saved for almost 2 years so I could have it. Going to be upgrading soon and am looking at an lg c4. The b4 are cheaper but lack the extra features and mor nits for HDR which to me, is a must for PC games such as this.

Graphics are ok ish.
Story is meh
Dialog is garbage with agenda's people are not keen on.
No replay value.
No DLC
Undersold on PC as still not broken over 100k users.

Enough with the fluff posts we know why the game was made and for and in a year's time when the sales figures come out there is no more hiding behind false narratives.

Great that it lasted for six years as well. You would want it to for that price but its impressive to hear it actually did.

Great that it lasted for six years as well. You would want it to for that price but its impressive to hear it actually did.

Its now suffering the “green blob”. Was a problem with older lgs where the yellow would fade along the center of the screen making yellow things greenish. Not a lot, but enough to notice.

I am level 15 and still have not encountered and of these woke conversations. It must be somewhere but I don't see it. I am having fun in this game, and so do many others I am sure.
Maybe my character is defined as SHE/HER and when she looked in Varric's mirror she told herself that she was happy as the woman she is. I know that these things are not usually in games, but here we are.
This is one of the few games where the main character actually has a voice and I like that.
I have so many hours in this game, while it is just a few days old. I'm having fun.

The conversations in this forum are no longer healthy here. I stay out of most of it. That is the best everybody should do unless discussing with trolls looks like fun to you.

I just block and ignore. I live gaming and have for a very long time. I can appreciate the little things like when Bellara? Picks up that crystal before she drops it, you actually notice you can see through it but quite distorted. To me, this is art. What a lot of talent must be needed.

It definitely feels like with the sort of "regular people vs. gods" thing they're going for all that sort of edgy stuff is left to NPCs. And while there's a lot of it, there's definitely a different vibe to the game.

What bad writing? Seems pretty good so far. Some if these npcs are quite interesting to me though. Its not dragon age but at the same time it very much is
