I want to know why you people think there should not be trans characters in games and movies. like do you just hate us? is that really all it is? cuz thats kinda sad, and it almost makes me feel sorry for you, almost

Yea but in a fantasy game wouldn't you want to experience the life you couldn't? I'm not saying that trans shouldn't be in the game but if you had the choice to be the real thing wouldn't you want to be that? Even if its just in the game. Maybe a trans npc would be great though IMO.

Totally wasnt a coincidence they picked the super conservative fantasy race with the defined gender roles. Feels like an off shoot of the whole no more evil races in dnd thing

some times I do but sometimes its also nice to be able to represent my self, if you are asking if I could have been born a cis women then would I, the answer is obliviously yes, and some times that does bare out in the way I play characters in video games, its one of the reasons I like games with female protagonists so much, also I like your pfp frieren beyond journey's end is both my favorite manga and my favorite anime

Must be awful, hoping for a fast recovery.

I have diagnosed gender dysphoria by a licensed psychologist, transition has made the the happiest I have been in my life and completely illuminated the ideation I dealt with since the age of six

But the whole point of people saying x is just a phase is that they believe something that they wont later. Nobody in a phase thinks theyll get over it during. Its something you say looking back

If you do think the same in ten years then good for you and you should do whatever makes you happy, but I dont understand this belief of infallibility in most trans people

people do irreparable damage to themselves over fads all the time, that doesn't make them not fads

remember when having gigantic gauges in your ears was considered cool and edgy? you can always tell who fell for that meme because they have gross spaghetti noodles hanging off the side of their head

you complain about how unfair you get treated but this is literally as validated as you will ever get from society. you are at the crest of your wave, so enjoy it while it lasts.

after this phase is the part where people become bored of hearing about it and get interested in the next fad that comes along

We don't hate you, we just hate being forced to deal with your mental illness drama in our games. We play games to escape reality.

We don't want to be preached at in our games about how we are a bad person because we accidentally called an NPC the wrong pronoun.

All games that have trans content should have one or more options that allow the player to turn off some or all trans woke messaging.

Without the option to turn off that content this game and all other woke games will be a hard pass for me.

read the comments plenty of people hear hate us just for being trans
