Well... Anthem and Andromeda definitely kickstarted the decline. Really, it was the founders leaving and probably their A and B team shortly thereafter.

I was bummed for Anthem too. New IP, had so much promise. Read an article where Casey Hudson had said that the dev team had so much discourse and it caused a lot of development issues. He ended up quitting. Andromeda... I love the ME series and was also saddened to see how bad it did.

Bioware ceased to exist on the launch of ME2. EA killed Bioware, not this.

BioWare is a company and games arereally not made by companies but the people who are working for it. Every good game that was developed by BioWare were made by competent talented people and all of them are gone as of now. Replaced by incompetent agenda pushing talentless hacks. It was a slow and painful death but I believe not even breaking even with this game will change things up with shareholders i bet.

I enjoyed Andromeda, as well. Not as much as the original trilogy (The Citadel DLC, omg), but I had fun with it, and I saw some promise for a decent story that could have grown from it. Who funded the whole thing? Hopefully we find this out.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in this game so far, the culture anti-woke warrior bs that came up the last few years going after anything lgbtq made anything bioware did decisive.

This same ♥♥♥♥ would be here if they released any other dragon age today too.

i mean look at life is strange - getting the same anti-woke - oh my god bs as this and that game is inheritently lgbtq from the get go... so the "dont touch our franchise" spiel is just bs

Ah, the EA kiss of death. Bioware is a shell of a once great company. The people who created the classics have long since moved on to other studios.
