Dialogue Choices "More"
I like to know exactly what my dialogue selection is trying to say, and the tone it will be given in when playing RPG's.

It looks like that is how things work with the dialogue wheel (I'd have preferred something closer to BG3's dialogue style, but it isn't a huge deal to me so please save opinions on the use of the wheel for another thread...i'm sure there are plenty). I noticed something curious that isn't clearly explained in the guides when watching playthroughs.

Often there is another option called "More" in the wheel. Usually something like this would indicate non essential information gathering, which I always exhaust in RPG's. It doesn't seem to be the case though from the limited amount i've seen. It seems to be a choice that moves the dialogue forward. After choosing an option in the "more" area, you cannot revisit the dialogue choices in the primary wheel.

Since it isn't the obvious optional information gathering dialogue, my next guess would have been overflow dialogue options. This isn't the case because there is plenty of room on the primary wheel.

The dialogue symbols after clicking "more" seem to be different (not sure if all the time, but definitely some of the time) than the standard ones i could find in guides like this:

One I saw was blue instead of the standard purple and had what looked like a staff with three stars on it. I can't find this image on any of the dialogue guides otherwise I would link it.

MAIN QUESTION: Basically, what is going on with anything on the secondary "more" dialogue wheel. Why are they using it? What differentiates the "more" options from the primary?

Or better yet, if you have a link for a resource that delves into this portion of the dialogue that would be awesome.

Less keen on giving this game a go now if the dialogue options are not clear. I hate accidentally making big decisions or misunderstanding the type of emotion conveyed in the delivery.

The question marked options tend to be questions about background and lore. So non-essential information gathering as you initially thought and it will not end the conversation and you can just go through each of them in the dialogue. They are segregated off into the overflow whether there's room on the initial wheel or not.

And of course sometimes the overflow just contains more options for a single decision which moves the dialogue/scene on.

Other symbols link to race and background and class responses and tend to be off in the overflow too.
