SAVE ERROR
has anybody found an actual solution to this? i've tried everything from changing file locations to doing the weird loading in from a past save thing and NOTHING has worked for me.

this is such a game breaking glitch it's crazy they didn't catch this before release.

Is it just the last save file or are ALL files corrupted?

every single game i've started breaks sometime after arriving at the veiljumper camp, and from then on i can only load saves from the very start of the game.

Puh. Thats really bad. Maybe its something really simple. Try to set all the details to the lowest. Maybe the game tries to load something that is buggy. With luck, it is just a graphical error.

sorry my english isn't good
This work for me:
1- First load the game from the Lighthouse
2- Then travel to the last map where you were before closing the game
3- and now load the last save point you had in this area
this work for me and I hope it works for you

When I installed the game, it was on D where all my games are. The save files however, were on C. I then moved the game to C and since then it works. C is also an SSD, whereas D is not. If that was the issue, this is the first game I've ever owned that required an SSD to function.

This should have been patched already imo. Unfortunately the ragebait no-lifers who have usurped the forums in the name of "free speech" are probably causing so much extra work for anyone who's job it is to figure out which problems need fixing that actual bugd and so on are going under.

all my saves busted when i got around there also.. every save loads, then a error message and kicks you to main menu.

update: i finally found a solution but it's pretty complicated but so far it's worked for me everytime.
!. before exiting the game, make sure that you MANUALLY save in the LIGHTHOUSE.
2. when you load into the game, once you get to the main menu screen, turn off your wifi & load into your game, then once you're in you can turn it back on.
game doesnt have to be of ssd for this to work.

I tried this every way..
what I found in the end was the only saves that work out of 2 games and 50 savefiles.. the ONLY saves that will load are the ones where I saved at the LIGHTHOUSE... unplugging network makes no difference at all.

Same issue. Upon rescuing the demon, all of my save files now have load errors.

Update: I restarted my game & computer, went to "load different character screen" then came back to the character save I wanted to load. It worked.

Yeah, you do realize that the Game Devs are NOT even remotely involved in moderating forums, right?
