I take issue with that last part, man. You're saying that and I get what you mean but what you have to understand is that this is a franchise that has existed for 15 years. People have played the previous games and come to love them, the games have established audiences already. When you take something like that and change it to such a degree it's only natural that the fans born from those games are going to be upset. People are absolutely allowed to complain that it isn't the game they want - this isn't a brand new thing like Concord. Dragon Age has existed for years and years man.
You're talking as if this a brand new thing and no Dragon Age has ever existed before, but you and I both know that isn't the case.
Fable was actually pretty dark.
Sure it had the sweet fairy tale setting and the graphics looked cartoony enough but the story is pretty harsh.
I mean starting with the whole village burning and people getting slaughtered left and right.
Not saying anything about your mentor the endibg.
