Yeah no.
They said before the game ever released that it would be the complete story with no DLC. Nothing to do with sales.
Firstly the other 3 DA games all had DLC and released by the same Developer so why break the trend
Where as Larian Studio's as far as i can tell have never done DLC for a game ( i could be wrong here but nowt showed up in steam for their games)
so the fact that there's a company who's known for DLC in their franchise stating that they're not planning on any DLC tends to suggest ( and yes this is an educated guess only) that they don't feel all too strongly about the viability of the product to make enough money to be able to afford doing a DLC
They also used to use garbage DRM that nobody wanted on their games. And made them EA app exclusive. I don't hear anyone complaining about this game lacking that or thinking that the lack of DRM or the fact that it's not an EA app exclusive = failed game. It's wild to me that people will pick apart good choices just to find the bad -just- to have something to crap on. Insane.
I saw it in an interview about a month before release.
Specifically they said they didn't like how Inquisition required a DLC to get the real ending (Trespasser). So they wanted to give a full story on release with no DLC required. Nothing chopped out to be sold seperately later, and no DLC planned.
