crazy cpu temps & crashing at cc / force restarting pc? any solutions?
just picked up the game and am running on an 4070 ti and an i5-13600k. just updated to new nvidia drivers yesterday - 566.03

anyone else have crazy CPU temps? i suspect that the cpu temps are resulting in crashes of the game and even sometimes force shutting down my pc. i've seen them hit 85c+ on avg and then upwards to 100 even when i was just simply making my character lmao. as of now i have not yet been able to make it through character creation without crashing.

i found a somewhat temporary fix in forcing my frame rate to be limited to 60 / 120 but it just doesn't feel or look very smooth or good on my monitor and thus feels like a bandaid fix amongst a sea of things.

was wondering if anyone else had similar issues and or find any tangible solutions with similar specs or if im clearly just missing something? this is the only game i've had this issue in thus far and it's been a bummer trying to troubleshoot this for the past few hours.

13th gen Intel CPUs are poorly manufactured, a large percentage of them have major overheating issues and will literally melt themselves. This might be worth a look.

I saw another thread here earlier complaining about this issue, so I can confirm that you're not the only one.
if i dont have my fan speeds on max my 12th i7-12700F temps can go to 99c. no other high end game i play does that. maybe close to 80 on some more un optimized more demanding games. freaking crazy. might just play through geforce now

Jack the AC down in your room to the mid or low 60s and open the case and point a small fan at it that you can have sitting there on max ?:)
Turning off strand hair seemed to help a bit in terms of cpu temps
