WoW still one of the best mmo out there by the way.
Why proclaiming a RETURN TO FORM ,if DAO is old and obsolete.
Quite a contradiction.
Dude. I respect how you live the principle you describe. Name says what it is, no bs.
This is why I don't suffer fake pretences like this game lightly.
What is BG3?
BG3 is a 30 minutes skip skip dialogues easy game.
The past is the past.
It is what it is.
Move along.
Older gamers are dying.
The future of gaming is Veilguard.
etc etc
(tell me if i forgot something)
This.
And this.
Video game requires Gameplay, 3 hours without it especially in a Dark bloody Fantasy IP. This is not a movie or interactive movie. And then ontop False advertisement then wonder 'oh why is this game criticised' It's clear some people somewhere shouldn't be decision making.
So, expectations are below standard because the people hired to do the job of directing/writing/design/coding/programming/gameplay, all of these positions, all of these teams, full of subpar individuals? Games have become vastly overpriced, games are becoming far too expensive to develop, and standards are somehow worse than they were in the 90's?
How does that make sense? We should compare Veilguard to Origins, and the reason for this is because the former BioWare staff were VASTLY SUPERIOR in every single way imaginable. Why settle for less? Why settle for something worse than what was considered the BioWare B-Team developing Origins in the late 2000's?
And we question layoffs, we question studio closures, but we never question whether these people should even have a job.
By the way, Baldur's Gate 3 contradicts several paragraphs over what the vast majority want from RPG's - As does the success of Wasteland 3, CP2077, Witcher 3, Dark Souls 3, Elden Ring, MH World, MH Wilds, Disco Elysium, Wrath of the Righteous, Rogue Trader, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Pillars of Eternity, the list goes on.
You should demand more for your time, your money, and have far greater standards than what you consider painfully mediocre.
