What I'm uncertain of is if the auto-cast skill needs to be on the bar for them to use it automatically since it's a separate cooldown.
It's single character combats very special, companions provide:
- A light but fun party mood.
- 6 extra active spells/skills (3 each)
- Some extra passive bonus (but the big deal on that is main character building and equipping.
- For weak players like me, some companions can bring you an healing spell (amount of potions is limited a bit like in DAI).
- They could attract a tiny bit of enemies, but overall enemies mostly attack only you if you don't achieve more or less flee the combat or hide well.
