How to max factions?
Let's take Mourn Watch for example. They're my faction. I have done all the quests for them. I have sold all my stuff exclusively to them.

Yet I'm only at 75% progression. Is there any other way? I don't see one. And how am I supposed to level up several factions? There isn't enough stuff in the game to sell.

No. It's a serious flaw in the game. I play the EA version, but from what I've been reading on the Internet, you can only max one faction if you exclusively sell everything in the game to that faction. If you sell anything else to any other faction, you won't be able to max one of them.

Hopefully, someone will come out with a mod that fixes this

It wasn't difficult at all to max all factions.
I already have 2 maxed out, and 3 of them almost reach rank 4.

Other than questing or getting stuff randomly on the field, you need to seek out those mechants that sell valuable items.

This right here is just blatantly wrong. I finished the game with all but 1 faction maxed, the last one i was not able to max because the merchant you sell stuff to vanishes when you make a choice in the game.

At some point after that choice a new merchant wisp appears in the crossroads where all the spirits are (near the first set of mirrors) that becomes the lost merchant.
I finished the game. Has all factions on max. It's really easy to max them. Just do all their quests. No more quests? Advance the main quest.
You need to sell almost nothing.

Laughably easy and braindead, like everything in the game.
If you're struggling to max out a faction, keep in mind that certain valuables are more valuable to one faction over the others. Don't sell ancient Elven artefacts or dragon eggs to Mourn Watch. Sell those to Veil Jumpers and Lords of Fortune respectively. MW like things to do with the dead.

All the faction strength was maxed for me at the end game and I wasn't even trying to max it. Like the Crows who lost their merchant was maxed and I had not raised it by selling stuff to them at all.

That's wild. I never could max my crow faction. I even tried to max them all by bringing stuff to the vendor before the merchant died.
You likely didn't complete all the quests for them.

There's a ton toward the end for Mourn Watchers. The pacing for some factions is off. Shadow Dragons, Antivan Crows, and Veil Jumpers can get a lot of quests early on, which makes maxing them relatively easy. Grey Wardens, Mourn Watchers, and Lords of Fortune can take a bit longer.

Can you tell me what Lucanis' attitude towards Rook was like after the destruction of Treviso?

Pretty disappointed and that was his attitude for most of the game from that moment even after you make up for it as much as possible.

Ah... thank you. I wondered because Neve is the same. Actually, Neve is basically a bi**h after that point. Being actively spiteful, even. I prefer Lucanis' personality so I may still make the same choice you did, this time around.
Chapter 10, I got 3 factions at 2800/3400, 1 at 3300/3400 and rest maxed out, all I did was go there everytime I saw the exclamation mark on the world map saying "Please come here, we have a quest for you" and finished companion quests, selling valuables I found at the factions I liked the most. Only Treviso was going slower at first because of... incident.

I actually found Lucanis was remarkably chill about it. He was very depressed at first, and thought he can't rely on you for literally 1 quest, but beyond that he was extremely understanding. If anything, the rest of the Crows were spiteful, not him.

Okay, I can deal with that. Thanks.
