How to max factions?
Let's take Mourn Watch for example. They're my faction. I have done all the quests for them. I have sold all my stuff exclusively to them.

Yet I'm only at 75% progression. Is there any other way? I don't see one. And how am I supposed to level up several factions? There isn't enough stuff in the game to sell.

No. It's a serious flaw in the game. I play the EA version, but from what I've been reading on the Internet, you can only max one faction if you exclusively sell everything in the game to that faction. If you sell anything else to any other faction, you won't be able to max one of them.

Hopefully, someone will come out with a mod that fixes this

I actually found Lucanis was remarkably chill about it. He was very depressed at first, and thought he can't rely on you for literally 1 quest, but beyond that he was extremely understanding. If anything, the rest of the Crows were spiteful, not him.

Okay, I can deal with that. Thanks.
Actually I also remembered now that one more detail triggers based on what choice you make there, near the end of his questline he will not give you a choice in one of his decisions because he's having traumatic memories and blames it on not you but the person who took advantage of your choice at the time.

His cousin.

It's actually really easy to max them with mostly just the side quests and selling some stuff to them. I only had issue with one for story reasons, so next time I'll max that one before that point in the story.

Yeah would be nice if game gave you at least a bit of warning before that mission.

All the faction strength was maxed for me at the end game and I wasn't even trying to max it. Like the Crows who lost their merchant was maxed and I had not raised it by selling stuff to them at all.

Funny, because the only one I don't have maxed (other than the one I can't now) is the Crows. I just about got them to enough approval but am too broke to buy the upgrade lol. Guess I'll have to grind some loot out before endgame.

I found that you can actually get A LOT of money from the final faction quests, for instance the Minrathous one I found about 1.2k in the final chest and about 1.5k worth of loot along the way, which pays for almost 2 rank 4s really. Then again I explore literally every little pixel of the map and only managed to not reach like 3 chests in the entire game so far so I am currently all maxed out in terms of gear and most factions are done too, just the crows are a problem because no trader (buying the ranks at trader actually gives you some rep too).

Which is ironic, because I am a Crow. But yeah, atm I have about 15k spare still, mostly spending it on just upgrading legendaries to +10 cos why not.

I've sadly done all of the final quests now (I'm at the endgame point with the final quest) so no more money coming in through those lol. It's not a major deal, but I do want to max them out in case it has an impact on the final quest in terms of allies' support.

Admittedly I think i'll be missing like 15 rep for Crows just to Spite me (pun intended). But if you're still missing some, you can grind Venatori in Dock Town at numerous spots very easily and fast and they tend to drop decent amount of valuables in my experience. I never grinded anything in the game unless you call doing literally every quest and exploring everything to 100% grinding, and I am pretty much done with most of the reps by now.

When I finished the game I had only one faction that wasn't at max and it was off by just 50 points.

Its not explained well.

The shop level is a actually not faction level. Everytime you level a shop you get more faction xp from faction missions and faction xp from selling valuables.

I sold 10k valuables to a faction and maxed it out immediately.
I had no trouble maxing out my faction reps for all the factions. Do all the side quests you can, make sure to sell your valuables to the relevant faction and it adds up.
