Not from what I have seen, most of the stuff that happened in the South is only mostly alluded too and big lore questions finally getting some answers, which is awesome.

Yeah. I'm much less worried about the sales numbers making it the last game and more about them closing all the loose ends. Without knowing how Veilguard ends, I'm wondering if they are getting ready to either call it quits or have a timejump to the next game. Not like the next big bad can get even more apocalyptical.

Blight-related things get answered very early on. If you missed it, you might either not have paid attention or might not have explored enough.

You fight hurlocks for sure I've fought them multiple times, not genlocks though.

They've had some major redesigns...also they pop out of giant boils instead of broodmothers. The darkspawn really do not look good.

Here's rough explanation.

The Blight is worse in the Fade and what is unleashed on Thedas is minor in comparison. What the magisters did when they breached 'Golden City' which was in fact the Prison of Evanuris which Solas put was unleash the Blight. It's very possible Evanuris actually created the Blight as a weapon against Titan's or repurposed it. That is the gist so far.

Between the blighted village and the flashbacks in arlathan and the crossroads, it's clearly stated that the darkspawn are different because they are quite simply different. The darkspawn we are used to are degenerate failures. The gods bring the "real", original darkspawn with them from the fade.

Going off that, it means that Solas = The Maker.

yes the god created the blight, to stop solas. at least thats what i got from one of his dreams. and also that does not explain genlocks and hurlocks not appearing right ? [/quote]

Yes there are.

Spoilers:

A credit scene retcons the reasons Loghain betray Cailan in DA:O, why Varric's brother betray Hawke and Varric by stealing the red idol and also all the Cory stuff in Inquisition.

All those betrayal and motivation are now canonically because a group of evil entities were influencing them.

Wait...did they seriously retcon Loghain's betrayal? I thought they were basically ignoring the events in Ferelden. What was even the point of that?
