Bring Mike Laidlaw back, pay him whatever he wants.
If I'm the EA CEO, I would be planning to have dinner with Mike Laidlaw so that I can make him a tempting offer to come back to Bioware and restructure the team. At this point you just pay him whatever he wants. I'll offer him bonuses to convince other old talent to come back as well.

Na honestly I love Origins but I like Veilguard much more than anything he made after that. I’d still prefer that next time they try and emulate Origins more tonally. Keep the gameplay of Veilguard though and just add more rpg features. That would be the perfect mix and make an amazing game imo. If they’d let him come back and do a smaller budget true successor to Origins on the side though that would be hype.

I feel like the way game development is now a small team could recreate a similar experience mechanically. You’d still need a ♥♥♥♥ load of artists and writers but a indie sized team could build the game itself.

^In regards to creating a true successor to Origins. A classic turn based game just with new graphics. With all the focus on the characters, plot, world building, decisions, etc
