Really? I had Davrin by the time the Traviso and Minrathous decision came up.
It 100% matters which you pick. Not only does it affect the world state and two factions, but it also changes the way one of your companions will play going forward.
Won't effect world state. Nothing is permanent in world state, so it doesn't matter.
Also, according to Skill Up it doesn't impact the romances.
The only thing it can impact is Hardened state in which the companion does not do support skills but deals more damage.
Are you guys even playing? FULL SPOILERS BELOW YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
I chose Treviso
- Neve left the party for a good while, came back unable to use her supprot abilities and her damaging abilities are more powerful.
- Neve's personality has become a bit more distant
- Neve's bond level raises slower now too.
- Minrathous is in chaos, and looks like it.
- The Shadow Dragons are in hiding and Ic urrently don't know where any of them are.
- The Viper (one of the shadow dragon leaders) is blighted now
- Maevis is missing
- I fought a different Dragon boss based on which city I went to save
- the Antaam are less powerful
- The Venetori are more powerful
It is such an impactful decision and your responses sound like either you got the information second hand, or your intentionally being disingenuous to further your narrative.
