Only 5 FPS no matter which settings I try :-(
Hallo friends,
the PC of my wife is an

AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6 core
Radeon RX 6500 XT
16 GB RAM and 1TB SSD.
3340 x 1080 ultrawide Screen

I installeed the newest Radeon Driver which should have special support für Dragon Age 4.

I tried every possible option in settings, but the game only runs with 4-10 FPS :-(

Does somebody have a hint for us? On our other PC with an NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3060 the game runs perfectly...

Is the graphicscard that old? I thought it should have the recommended speed...

Strange. The PC ist running all other 3D games she owns very smooth. For example sea of thieves or the newer two doom games.

4 GB VRAM is probably the bottleneck. That's the bare minimum requirement, and I guess the minimum is just enough for HD, not for your UW resolution.
The RTX 3060 has 8 GB or even 12 GB, depending on the model you have.

Hi there. It's that a laptop or a desktop?

If the GPU is only 4GB, you're going to have issues. (the 3060 it's 8gb ram)

Those spects are like for a 1080p machine with issues, it will run the game but bad. If the screen is wide, you need a better gpu that can handle it. 12GB or superior, that's the future.

You may also want to upgrade the CPU up to 8-10 cores. I recently build a new machine, I'm missing the GPU so I'm currently using the 3060ti 8GB EVGA FTW, 1440p resolution, in a 10 cores CPU and 32GB ram. It's gonna run, BAD in some areas, most settings at low. The GPU is not ready for this, I'm an Nvidia user, I need some 40 series. I'm aiming for the 4060ti 16gb ram it has low power consuption.

I wish you the best. But yeah, 6 cores and 4GB ram GPU, 16ram, the SDD helps a lot but still, it's not ready. That machine will run perfect games like Ghost of Tsushima (it came out this year but that's a port) it will run many games, Baldur's Gate 3 with some issues probably but funtional.

It's like running Battlefield 2042. It's complicated.

I have an rx 6500 xt and a ryzen 5 3600x, I can maintain 30 to 50 fps at least, but after a while the game becomes extremely slow.
