Friends of the warden's glitch

In the Friends of the Warden's quest where you recruit Davrin, the part with the two blight boils spawning infinite dark spawn is glitched so that the boils are indestructible. I've reloaded the game but nothing changed. Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas on how to fix it?

somehow i just walked back a bit then the first boil let me destroy it then the 2nd one i guess i have no clue wtf i did tbh
