Clear the blight from Beacon Island.

Trying to do this side quest, and before I even get in the area there is as door that is clolsed. Doesn't show as locked, just closed. And of course my map marker is beyond that closed door. Reloaded past saves and it's still closed. So is this bugged or is there something that I am missing?

I have the same but I think you need more Essenes from generals to open other doors to proceed

Seems to need more essences from the generals to get it to open.

Jump back to Gate of Deep Sorrows quest and find the last general. You'll approach it from another door.

You need the essences from the generals to open the doors. But the fights are hard so level up before you try. [lowest level one I found was a lvl 20 one in Dock Town]
