It sounds like you did not play the Inquisitor + Sera romance in DAI?
By the way: you are all arguing about nothing important. This game *does* have nudity in cut-scenes, but it is equivalent to PG16 for movies, and you have to make a certain selections in your character customization and game settings if you want to see it. You only see topless Rook, so if you play with a male Rook, you will easily miss it. It's only for some of the companion romances (at least 3 of them). The companions are never nude, except if you count topless Lucanis (and Davrin?).
There is also no blood in this game. Enemies die like dolls and my party is always neat and clean.
Actually is rated 16^^
There's no Desire Demons in this game that I know of and the most you see is a bare ass from Taash. This game got toned down way too much during development to try to appeal to everyone, but the end result is that it appeals to almost no one. Especially fans of the original games cause this ain't it.
Inquisition did. Then Andromeda.
You'd think Bioware would be progressive enough to keep this up. However, you could make the case that "Bioware's back!" by arguing they removed nudiy, brought back undies in romance scenes, and removed world state porting.
Not a deal breaker for me since I still plan to get the game at some point.
The toggle is essentially only for female Rook in some romance cut-scenes.
See my previous comment:
Nuff Said.
Veilguard seems like it was too afraid to be anything other than safe and sanitized
I guess that's fair, I haven't really had any romances that had nudity. I did forget about Dorian's rear end though lol, I saw that on YouTube. I also forgot about Jaal's butt in Andromeda. Though, speaking of Andromeda. Would nudity help for people who already decided to dislike the game?
I don't think it's needed to make an adult or good game. I enjoyed the game as is. I don't mind the underwear, that's how it was in Origins. The romance scenes in this game range from cute to a little spicy, similar to DA2 to me.
Shouldn´t the question be rather why it has a "nudity" switch in the game settings but no nudity in the game?
