I am scared for Mass effect

What Bioware did to dragon age is making me heavily worried about the next mass effect game.

If they try to butcher old characters like they did with this game. I'd go crazy

False, all worked in DA4 and all switched to ME5, but perhaps some leaders will change and they can change a lot directions.

I'm not. They've stated Mass Effect 5 will not have the same stylized visuals as Dragon Age Veilguard.

For me looks more like a lame demago com.

DA4 graphics are quite great even if not with the realistic no style approach. And for SF styled graphics could be huge, too bad, mass of players prefer standard realism no style graphics.

The big question is combats, I don't see Bioware coming back to party combats even as MEA and extra costs it leads to make companions AI adapted to many builds.

Veilguard doesn't make me worried, Mass Effect 3's aftermath makes me worried for the next Mass Effect game all by itself because what they have to do to make the series viable going forward... let's just say if I see green infused Reapers responsible for exterminating countless cycles as part of the new organic-synthetic blender mix...

The people who made Mass Effect are long gone. If you want anything similar look at the game Exodus which is being made by Bioware vets that include the lead writer from KOTOR, ME1, ME2, oversaw the original SWTOR stories (the agent and warrior stories are fantastic if you never played them and you can try that game for free) Drew Karpyshyn. He also authored the Darth Bane Star Wars books.

Game journalism (most of which is under Ziff Davis/IGN and one company) is already lying about Mass Effect and their new lead (Mike Gamble) claiming he has been in charge of Mass Effect for years. This is completely false.

The lead on KOTOR and ME 1-3 was Casey Hudson. He came back to Bioware tried to resurrect it and left not long after. The lead writer on ME 1 was Drew and on 2 he shared duties with Mac Walters who was the previous character writer for Garrus. ME 3 was Mac Walters as the lead writer which is why you saw a very different ending than what was previously being worked to with Dark Energy. Mac was promoted for Andromeda with Hudson gone after 3.

Mass Effect no longer has anyone working on it in lead roles who originally made it just like this current Dragon Age game whose 3 leads were on games like the Sims or previous character writers for other games.

You didn't understood the whole story.

In short Kett:
- Aren't machine based at all unlike reapers.
- Aren't servent at all of any supreme entity unlike Reapers, it's a dominating race working for themselves, and they met the Remnent remains that have no equivalent in ME1 to 3 and not yet clearly explained, nor is explained the dark thing origin that made Remnent flee.

Think of it this way. Andromeda already dragged Mass Effect through the mud.

If the new ME game ends up being trash, it will just change the statement "Hey, remember that god awful mass effect game?" to "Hey, remember those two god awful mass effect games?"

Old teasing for ME5 was showing Laria. Even if it's still compatible with a MEA follow up, it tends hint it's more a ME3 follow up.
