Fwiw, the shift over as an almost entire studio now onto UE5 may be the reason behind moving this game to just being maintained. DLC would need to have been planned months back (especially voice acting) so definitely fair to read 'no current plans' as it's very unlikely to happen with the new ME game being made.
Correct and this isn't about whether a game is good or not. DLC is designed to keep revenue streams flowing until a next game, it's not about giving you more game to play, that's the byproduct. When there's a cash shop, or a paid mod system, sometimes they'll give extra content for free but the expectation is you continue to spend money.
CDPR even did a whole presentation where they explained their business model. The really bad thing as of late is they've (companies in general, not so much CDPR) been charging more for these feature/content incomplete games and then keeping that revenue stream going with DLC.

Didn't state I did, I only stated I don't want this team touching Mass Effect. Why would I need to read an article to state that.
Then they all need to go away.
Remember buying a game back in the day and it was just the full game? ofc you dont because youre a tourist not a gamer, you just wanna be a drama kid. Maybe try playing video games instead of crying.
70-90K is about an average launch week for a big name game. It's actually impressive for a completely single player game. What's your point? BG3 is definitely an outlier.
Carry on.
