Damage types for triple threat skill?
Are poison, physical and electric (hence triple...) the only ones or are there more damage types? There is a fourth slot but the other colours seem to be status effects.

Would also like to know.
Is it Strike Smash Area Control Projectile?
Is it Physical Electric Cold Poison Necrotic?
Is it something else entirely?

Google is not helping!
It's indeed necrotic (poison), physical and electric. I unlocked and equipped one of each and the "triple threat" buff appears on screen. The "one of each damage type" means the ones the rogue can do, which are poison, electric and physical. Supposedly rogues can't do fire or ice damage.

Ah that's cool that it appears on the screen so you can actually tell when it's working.

It's a Warrior ability too with the exact same wording, though come to think of it I don't think I've seen a Warrior ability do Electric Cold "Poison", so maybe "Each" for Warrior means Fire, Physical, Necrotic.

Thanks for the info! I'll test out the Warrior version later today/tomorrow and edit this comment accordingly.

Edit Update -
Yup, for Warrior it's Fire, Necrotic, Physical, and your Ultimate Ability does NOT count towards this total, so you can't cheat it by using your Ultimate for one of them and run two of another sadly :(

so I have been testing it on warrior and it does not seem to be related to the damage type, but instead the ability type/tag (duration/strike/area/control)

Example: https://imgur.com/a/7Dm0qd7

In the image linked above, I have two fire attacks equiped and one necrotic, and am STILL getting Triple Threat, but what is common between these abilities is all three are STRIKE powers. So it seems the damage type has nothing to do with the effect. Your ultimate has no impact on this buff as your ultimate is not given ability tags.

I've been trying to also test if the damage of the buff is actually applying but it's really hard to test since you can't swap equipment mid battle. It does *seem* like it is working as intended but numbers are pretty variable depending on the enemy.

to be clear, this is the buff you get from equipping the Carastes Double Hat

It does appear to just be damage type as in electric, necrotic, etc. It may work with both but I have rain of decay, lighting quiver, and explosives daggers. No tool skill and the passive is working.

Nice for a hybrid rogue.
Triple threat on my mage is granted via ability type, not damage type.

Mage with Triple Threat buff:
Caraste's Double-Hat: "+30% Ability damage if all share the same Ability type."
Chain Lightning: Strike/Projectile, Electricity, applies Overwhelmed
Dark Squall: Projectile/Control, Cold, detonates Sundered
Entropic Sphere: Area/Projectile, Cold, applies Weakened

Projectile is the only thing they all share, so it's definitely coming from that. I've not used any other class or item that provides it yet, so it's very possible it can be obtained in other ways like on a warrior via different damage types using a different item with a different trigger for it.

Ah, that's not the skill then. OP is talking about the skill Triple Threat.
