The story, so far, is great. IDK what people are smoking to say the story is trash, that's just wrong.
No the transgender thing isn't forced. I've only seen it once with a mirror where you can start your transgender story, if that's a thing you wanna do, but you can also just... not do that...
I definitely wouldn't go that far. The first village you go to is completely consumed by blight and littered with dead bodies and gore. LIkewise you go to another place that is just absolutely littered with bodies form demons.
That said, there wasn't nearly as much blood in any of these scenes as I expected.
Game doesnt force you anything. Even during character creation when you get to random character, it always default to he/him, she/her, man/woman.
You literally have to select by yourself anything else.
In story so far i didnt encounter anything even remotely to forced sexuality. I am about 15 hours in to game on EA Pro,
So its totally overblown by insecure people.
Dialogue is cringe sometimes but it’s not terrible. It’s better than Starfield, as are the RPG elements. Your class and background come up a lot in dialogue, actually. You’re not forced to be trans. There’s one trans interaction in the game that people are losing their ♥♥♥♥ about. If you have a fully functional brain, it’s sincerely no big deal.
Aside from that, the combat is good, story is cool there’s a lot of ways to build your character. RPG elements are solid and environments are tight with lots of secrets and shortcuts.
It’s got issues, but this rhetoric online is way overblown, which is no surprise.
Solid 8/10 from me so far and I have a long way to go.
The game lacks constituent RPG elements, in my opinion. It’s certainly more of an action title with the weakest facade as a roleplaying game.
If you want an RPG, I imagine you’ll be disappointed. If you prefer action titles, it may be worth your doubloons.
Im still having fun with the game, mind you. It just feels more like... idk.. god of war with bright colors and cartoon aesthetics, with mid writing. That said, i would have much preferred inquisition 2.
Not a good trademark for an excellent RPG, combat is ok, maps and scenarios are built like Legacy of Kain which is a 2000's Game.
In some aspects, it feels like a big free mobile game ported to PC
Graphic is good and well optimized tho, character creation honestly is great, i made one of my best rpg characters i ever created, it took me a while to do it tho.
Overall, not a Dragon age game at all, but a decent ARPG, depending if you are a manchild or not.
