I Remember, Do You?
Remember when Dragon age was dark fantasy?

How the Darkspawn would drag women off to be broodmothers?

How a King and a Greywarden died due to man’s hubris?

How a Qunari slaughtered a whole innocent farming family, including the children. Due to panic and unfamiliarity, despite this he accepted his fate to the humans.

Remember when killing would drench you in blood and gore?

Remember banging a desire demon?

Remember when you hunted down a serial killer blood mage, who not only murders and disfigures your mother, but brings her back from the dead to attack you?!?!?!

Hawke and Duncan sacrificed themselves for this ♥♥♥♥.

Daily reminder this are the Qunari before the inquisition retcons, how downhill things have gone.

Can’t figure out why they didn’t stick with this style.

Stern, the Arishok were great and I was extremely excited to see Qunari in Inquisition...which lead to dissapointment, see them go further this route is just painful.

No idea why they didn't stick to any style across the series.

The only thing I really don't understand, is why forums are not cleared from this flood of e-daddy indoctrinated nonsense.
Mods, please halp!

Translation:

only duncan died. :p

Hawke may not have sacrificed his/her life but they sure scarified their mind/body and soul to the cause.
I bought this game because I remembered all the great times I had with Mass Effect 3. That game had such memorable storytelling and characters—ones I truly got attached to, even to the point of tears when they died. Given the negative reviews, I didn’t expect this game to reach that level, so I kept my expectations in check.

That said, aside from the graphics, the game was a pretty big letdown. Even with my tempered expectations, I hoped for at least a few compelling characters or story moments. Yet, throughout my playthrough, there were maybe one or two fleeting moments where I felt anything at all.

It’s a game you can play—it looks nice, and it’ll pass the time. But it doesn’t feel like it came from the same studio that created Mass Effect 3.

This game was setup to succeeded following the previous entries and they blew it. Companies need to respect their fans.

The same Mass Effect 3 where people cried for months in the forums about how bad the game was and how little their choices over the series actually mattered and how it came down to three color endings?

Every game has had something the fan base tore apart as horrible.

The ME3 with a completely different lead writer from 1 &2, whose ending was so bad they had to release a free extended cut DLC for it?

I think everyone forgot that because there's a non binary character in DAV and now ME3 was upgraded to awesome.

People had their issues with the ending and BioWare put in effort to appease the masses. Veilguard would need updating throughout the entire game, which isn’t likely to happen.

Yeah, no.

ME3's whole game was bad from start to finish compared to the first two. A change in head writer was plainly evident.

But rose colored glasses, etc.

I have one word to pretty much say the difference between dragon age origins and every dragon age: "Enchantment!"

Those of you who played origins know what I mean. I miss the depth difference.
