Performance on AMD GPUs shafted once again
I knew it was suspicious when I couldn't get more than 100 fps on my RX 7800 XT even with no RT, and trying the game on medium settings. Then there's the weirdly slow texture loading that causes blurred and smeared armor and clothing textures on High Texture settings. My card has 16GB of RAM. That shouldn't even be a problem.

I'm running the AMD Adrenalin Preview drivers version 24.20.19.05 since this one has Veilguard support, but man is it not running well, which I find weird, considering they got this game to run on Series X and PS5 and those system use AMD chips.

the thing you have to realize about releasing something on a console vs PC's is that those consoles have the exact same hardware basically wherever they are on Earth unless it's a ps4 or ps5 pro which has better hardware.

Now think of all the combonations of video cards alone. lets take a geforce 3080 like i have for example - like 20 different companies all make different versions of taht card - so it's a lot more difficult to test every combo of hardware and every gpu down to the right manufaacturer.

a lot of people on 3080s are having the game crash constantly just trying to load it - that neverh appened to me and idk why. But i do know i have the worst of all of the 3080s the super small alienware one :(

I'm on the 7900XTX and running the game at native 4k, ultra settings. Getting an average frame rate of 70-80 depending on the area

Had to turn all of the RT options off though, even selective RT was tanking the frames constantly. Haven't tried running at 1440p and selective RT on yet, might give it a try and see. That's the way it is for AMD cards though, great power and performance, lousy RT capabilities

Apparently the blurry effect is caused by bloom, a lot of users have said disabling bloom in the config files solves the issue, again, haven't tried it myself so couldn't say 100%
