Space Marine 2 is a solid game but it has its issues, there are better within in genre.

Starfield had a similar positive initial reception until people put some hours into it and the cracks started to show.
I think this will go down to ~60% in a couple of weeks.

Dustborn Has/Had a high rating. It also had a peak count of what, 60-70 players and lost Millions?
Concord had a High rating. 2 months later the studio is shut down.
Suicide Squad: KTJL Is Positive. yet branded the most god awful Live Service game ever.
A high Review will make DA:Veilguard look better for those not 'in the loop' as a game worth picking up. But it wont make a company money.
Which imo is fair. It stops the score being manipulated by people that just buy the game to put in a negative review and refund by manipulating Steams refund policy whilst still showing the reviews so people can check for ones where they refunded cause of technical problems.
