As it was in the original games, you can choose what you wanted, nothing was forced upon you.

If i choose to be a straight black guy, will i have to partake in the pronoun lecture?

Or can i decline all companions and go about it solo?

Yes. There are four pronouns - "he", "she", "they", "it".

Two of these pronouns are for individual people. One is for a group of people. And one is for something that is not sure if its a "he" or a "she" meaning that it doesn't have a gender making it an "it"

Then this game isnt for me.

Sounds like its not a single player role playing game, with fantasy elements.

Doesnt suit me to roleplay where i am rail roaded, and doesnt let me immerse myself into a fantasy i want, escaping from the real world.
