Does the writing get better?

I can overlook the gender nonsense, but does the writing get better? The writing in general just looks painfully awful and stilted. Not here to start a fight just asking a genuine question. I've beaten ever Dragon Age game to date and the combat looks decent, but i play these games for their stories.

Hard to tell ATM. I found one reviewer who had to update a previous glowing review and it was specifically about the way they're handling the story.

Just wait a bit more. The truth will out as the saying goes. (I used to think it was "the truth will win out".)

Subjectively, the writing actually gets worse, the more time you sink into the game and the more you engage with your companions. In my opinion.

I don't know what people are talking about. Sure there will probably be the occasional cringe spots, like in life? But otherwise, it's pretty good. I like the story, I didn't encounter anything bad in the conversations. I even really loved the moment when Solas and I exchanged sarcastic remarks. The guy's got a little more sharp elbows now. XD So my answer is. No. It's okay. But I guess it's opinion from opinion.

It's getting worse and worse. One of the main bosses you encounter early on, it's easy for it to kill you like all the others, but just nah, plot armour. He just said hi and flew away without killing you on the spot. Like who the hell write this?

Ugh, I’m only a few hours in and it’s like watching a Disney movie. The dialogue is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful and the delivery is so childish.

I’m 41 hours in and as someone else said it just gets worse. The writing is some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. Having spend 40 hours, I’m now just rushing to finish and avoiding the most annoying characters as much as I can. To me it sounds like a bunch of childish kids in their 20s who wrote this.

Terrible game. It gets much worse as time progresses. IF you unfortunately baught the game. Maybe rush it if you can. "i Couldnt. I refuse to waste anymore time on this trash"
