Lag Simulator?
I havent played this but i have seen some people saying that it has really really bad stuttering. I just want to know if this is what most people are experiencing or if it is just people trying to hate on the game because it is woke.

When I play at 120hz with 1/2 vsync, it runs buttery smooth without the slightest stutter, but it seems that gsync doesn't work. When I play with vsync off and more than 60 fps it looks stuttery.

Thanks for response

Not true, the game is very well optimised at launch. There are also a TON of options that you can modify to get the performance within range. If you have an Nvidia card DLSS is available with frame gen. Nvidia Reflex is available.

I'm running the game on a 1060 Nvidia card on ultra (So just slightly overbearing the capacity of my 6gb card) and I have no lags at all. It could be that dynamic resolution messes things up a bit, I deactivated it though.

No way its optimise your pushing propaganda, lots of people are having crashes on start and have to delete the shader cache contents to get it to work. The problems does not end there even on low setting the game stutters badly

If you remove the shaders in order to get the game to load, this will cause the game to stutter quite badly. I had to spend 30 min, going through the shaders to see which one was causing the issue. Once I figured what shader was causing the issue, it ran great. But now I need a break from my break.

I have a 4070, 3800XT CPU. With DLSS and Framegen and Ray Tracing on, I get 160fps. But I dislike using DLSS at 1080p, it looks blurry.

So at HIGH Settings with DLSS OFF I hit 60-80fps most places, small dips to 57fps.

In my case setting the process to priority high in the Windows Task Manager fixed the issue. Hope this helps someone else as well.

playing at 1080p on high with my 2060 Super at a stable 60fps so it's pretty well optimised.

Yea you need a GPU from 2021+ to get a somewhat decent framerate...if you have anything older than 2020 just dont even buy it. Unless you are playing at 720p Lowest Settings...by then the screen will be so blurry you cant even play it its unplayable. Frostbite is BAD for these games...Battlefield 2042 runs GREAT on my system. looks great. plays great. This is the complete opposite.

i'm running a 2019 gpu and running at 60 fps just fine on high tho.
GRANTED i only did the prologue if it gets bad after that then possibly but my friend who is 10 hours in has had the same fps and he is using a card from 2020 so eh

For me it was unplayable until I turned off Triple Buffering. Since then I can play at highest settings without any issues.

Haven't had any issues at all with frame rates so far. Its very well optimized.
But my gpu is only about a year old, so it even handles the game on Ultra without issue.

So something i said screw it and tried, changed the preset sound from Narrow Dynamic to headphones. Also disabled my gameboosting software and RGB controller in the Task manager. Poof. Much better
