Inputs Freezing

I am a pc player, using a first-party xbox one controller and I am periodically experiencing a bug where all inputs freeze, not the game though. For example, I was in combat and suddenly started walking into a wall and couldn't do anything for a minute or so. Feels a lot like lagging out ping wise in a multiplayer game. Is ANYONE else experiencing this?

I am experiencing this too and it is one of the main things throwing off how combat and general menu navigation feels. Either an actual issue or some artifact from Controller support?

Same bug ! The bug occurs with the controller or even with the keyboard with leads me to think it is not a controller issue....
Still havent find a fix, I will keep looking

Same here, made a post on ea forum as well. Some said going full-screen, turning off triple buffering or unplugging other input methods fixed it. Other mentioned certain keyboards like razer or the software from logitech (g hub) being the issue.
Sadly nothing worked for me, very likely a bug as I have tried with keyboard and controller (each time the other unplugged) with same bug happening.

I have a suggestion that worked for me! Go into your device manager, and under software devices, try disabling Microsoft Device Association Root Enumerator. This can be re-enabled whenever you wish, so it's risk free to try.

Saw this suggested on another thread for one of the BattleField games, and it's worked wonders for me so far.

Edit: The problem still comes up here and there, but significantly less often than before. You might still have it hiccup when first loading the game, but if the fix has worked for you, you probably won't experience it again for a while.

yes i had the same problem with my XBox controller which was connected via wireless. i have now connected it via USB cable, works fine. Kind regards

Experiencing this too, on a wireless Xbox Series controller with receiver. Also have Corsair iCue and Logitech GHub installed so will try some of the fixes mentioned here.

Also have the same thing happening and its constant, if not walking in a line i cant control , i have rook walking in circles. Just another thing on the list of annoying nuisance glitches.

Same issue for me. It's super random, sometimes it doesn't occur for 30 minutes and other times its every 3 minutes. The non responsiveness is about 4 seconds at my side. Now going to do a reinstall and trying it on my other Windows 11 install.
