Getting a lot of Stuttering. Anyone Else? Solutions?
I'm seeing a lot of stuttering in my game. Particularly in transitions in/out of cut scenes, but also just running around and periodically during combat.

I have a i9-13900 and 4070 TI. Shouldn't have any issues. I tried capping the FPS at 60 using NVidia Control Panel just to see if it helped and so far nothing. Anyone else seeing this?

I have the same issue on a 4080 and I7-13700. I get flickering and sometimes washed out colors.

It helped a bit lowering the screen refresh rate from 144 Hz to 120 Hz. However, in menus etc. the flickering came back. If I leave the game and comes back then I get washed out colors for awhile until it fixes itself.

I have installed the latest Nvidia 566.03 driver. However, I think this version might have issues with Dragon Age Veilguard even though it says it supports it.

You gotta be joking me. This game is amazing.

The stuttering issues are the only problem I'm having with it. Everything else is fantastic. This is the most polished game I've seen in a while. From UX to menus to animations to area design, and especially the combat, this is the best ARPG I've played in a long time.

Well, I guess if you don't chare about a bad story, repetitive quests, puzzles that need more than one braincell and shallow characters whose only traits are if they have changed their pronouns or not, yeah, this is an average game what crashes a lot and has many bugs

You guys are a broken record. Go play black ops 6 snowflake

also there seems to be alot of complaints about skill lag, ie parries and blocks. thats a dev issue.

In my case setting the process to priority high in the Windows Task Manager fixed the issue.

It must be your drivers. Try DDUing your driver, and doing a clean install.

I'm running an AMD RX 7800 XT and when I used the latest drivers, the game does a weird thing that, even when my monitor is set to 144Hz, turning on vsync caps my frames at 90. I had to install the preview driver that supports Veilguard to get it work properly.

There is definitely a bug or something. I have downgraded every Graphics setting to Low, turned every effect off, changed from 1440p 60fps down to 1080p 30fps and I get stutter about every 5 seconds. I have followed every YouTube video, I have updated BIOS, I have tried the Nexus Mods registry change, I have tried all suggestions in this discussion and nothing works. I have a rig with Windows 11, an i7 11700k processor, 16GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, and an RTX 4080 SUPER GPU. Please if anyone finds anything that really works I would like to know. Else this sounds like I will have to wait a few days for either a game patch or an Nvidia driver update.

I have similar specs to yours with an RTX 4080. I also encountered a stutter every 3-5 seconds on every graphical setting. I know my computer can run it, but the game refuses. I noticed that my GPU was dropping to 0% during each stutter, which I thought was weird.

I have manually set a 60FPS limit through the Nvidia control panel and that seems to have fixed the issue. Setting the FPS through the game itself did not. Hoping others are encountering this issue as well and will share a better solution, because I would love to play this game at higher than 60FPS!

Sadly its happening to me on my i9-9900k 64GB RAM NVIDA 2080ti. Updated the NVIDA driver which was made especially for the game and nothing has changed. The Struttering and Lag isnt too bad but it does spoil gameplay that I just not keen to go back into the game and play it again. Awaiting to the first official patch which I'm hoping is not too far away.
