Current estimates for the budget to make this game over the years, as it supposedly had around two or three development cycle turn-overs since Inquisition and your looking at conservative estimates of around 50-250m dollars to create this product.

As of right now there are just a little over 50k people playing here. That alone is 3.5m dollars in sales at 70 dollar price tag. Even if you quadruple that for EGS as well as PS5/Xbox(Ignoring EA APP) and you only get 14m-ish in sales.

That is no where close to breaking even. Veilguard, regardless of quality, is losing money thus far for EA.

Well if you take 1 source of sales from a game that just got released to the public a little over 2.5 hours ago, I'd expect it to not meet financial success thresholds.
