Agreed, Inquisition was great. Not sure why it's getting flack. But I'm pretty sure the majority of the devs / writers who worked on the first three Dragon Age games were let go / left during the layoffs--which makes sense why Bioware is producing such bizarre games now. Back to form is a joke. Back where? To Anthem?
I can see how people could like Inquisition, I respect your opinion on it. I just think Inquisition, Andromeda, and Anthem isn't a stellar lineup in general. The point being, it doesn't inspire confidence in Dawnguard.
Nobody wants to talk about Dawnguard though. It's all personal attacks and politics with this game, no gameplay or story discussion.
Thank you for your opinion. Glad you're enjoying the game, hoping to hear more from people that like it.
Yep. Origins and Inquisition were fun. The second one felt weird with the interface and encounters.
That is true. I had high hopes for Anthem until I got forever stuck in a wall during beta. Andromeda was an OK sci-fi exploration game, but not a Mass Effect.
About Dawnguard, I guess most people here have yet to buy the game/arrive @ home to play. I will save my money for now and see how it turns out. The DEI thing does not bother me a bit. I want to know how the story goes along with the mechanics.
While I'm happy you're enjoying the game--that's disingenuous. A lot of the hate, I'd like to believe, is because the writing is bad, the dialogue has been scrubbed clean, its lost its dark roots, and it's a far cry from what we're used to in other Dragon Age games.
I'm part of LGBT (and while I'm not trans, Krem was my favorite Inquisition character outside of the companions), I did not ask for this type of lazy, poorly-written representation. There's a hundred different ways they could have approached all of the things people have a problem with in this game. I feel like it's common sense? Please, writers, do better--stop destroying beloved IP's.
idk da2 had blood mages which were a blast, dai was my favorite combat to date (havent had a chance to get home and play the new one) and da:o kick started it all and i loved the warden story line... hard to choose.
