If you enjoy being told to punish yourself for mis-gendering people then yeah...it's great!

Mage gameplay is fun, you have channeled magic, a staff with protective aura, you blink instead of evading, spells feel nice so far

I get all the situation, but I feel like I can close my eyes on some problems as long as gameplay is alright

So far the game is very fun. It also looks gorgeous and is a very solid port. I mean, it's early days yet, but yeah, so far, I'm having a good time.

I’m watching gameplay while working, it actually looks like some of the best action combat BioWare has done so far so I’m pretty hype to get home. I wish I remembered to keep my steam deck turned on so I could remote download lol

But is it fun if you enjoy the more classical da combat, it looks a lot like a hack and slay action rpg? Also are your companions immortal? How many Skills can u use at once?

Very Agenda pushing and very uncreative

I'm struggling hard with the artstyle, it gives me bad uncanny valley vibes.

It's nothing like Origins. Not even a little bit. It is an action RPG. You have an ability wheel of sorts that unlocks as you progress. Yes, companions are immortal in combat and cannot be downed. The failure state is if your character is downed.

I don't really like the cartoony style they have choosen. But in terms of acual graphics and with the hair physics and enviroments it is very pretty. I do think the combat so far is pretty fun. It is abit arcady and simple. but it is flashy atleast. If the combat will be fun all the way through the game time will tell.

Combat has been wildly different in every DA game. Something like this really depends upon you. Did you ONLY like DA:O combat?

And how many skills can you use at the same time?
