Peak usually happens on the first weekend. Let's wait few days for proper numbers.

And remember that this game was also released on consoles (most sales happen there) and EA App (former Origin).

I'd say it's not looking good for the Veilguard developers at this point though. A game I've never even heard of called just "Banana" has 350,000 players right now. Banana is over 6 times as popular as Dragon Age: Veilguard right now. What is Banana? I go to find out.

By that logic its not looking good for almost any game developer since there arent a lot of games breaking 350k Players.
