Yes but my Dudes, Its always been there,Ive played Origins through Inquistion as a ♥♥♥ elf, Dwarf and human of numerous colors speaking to a ♥♥♥ elf, a ♥♥♥ mage and a transgender man. The fact they are screaming it should go back to DAO because it wasn't woke is so stupidly hilarious. Because Zevran, Leilana, The Chantry, The entirety of Sten, also personally the DAO signallers really remind me of Pokemon Gen Oners, is it a good game yes, is it the best game that's personal opinion personally little tedious, and kinda terrible looking when compared to even DA2 which product of its time , the tactic system felt a bit jank to use

So have your inclusion, but also have some things that would appeal to a guy in their 20's. First, The DAO OnlyFans sounds interesting.
Second, find me anything in any of the previous DA games where one of the main male companions literally say how one of your female companions brave and strong, much braver and stronger then him. And also your character went "strong women need no man to rescue them". All within 30 minutes of the start of the game.

I would like to know where you're getting this info because most polls and surveys have it fifty fifty nowadays, or don't ask gender at all because its like saying women don't watch action movies or men don't watch hallmark

They don't use the word "non-binary" because people weren't really very aware of that term back then, but they had a non-binary companion all the way back in DA:O.

But thats a non problem at all, DAO was more darker and mature than Witcher series, had also alot of mysoginist problems in its story and world building, the dialogues were strong and had a meaning to it, and the consequences were as bad as burning a baby born kitten in a stove.
Veilguard just retain all the "woke" elements , with a washed up cartoonish graphic with no soul, zero maturity, railed dialogues, like you just clickclick click, everything will be fine.

The only thing i am not sure yet is the combat , it looks flashy but boring after 1 hour at the same time, whereas DAO was the contrary, tedious the first 30 mins, then never boring because it required high tactical acumen as the enemies progressed and got meaner.

This Veilguard make me feel like you dont need to search good equipment or receive good equipment from quest branches, it feels all generic and an easy button smasher, "dont worry kid everything will be fine".

yeah it is not, DAO had none of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, despite the most important and powerful character in the game (the king that die horribly) being an absolute ♥♥♥ fantasy. (still nothing wrong with it tho as long the game is well written and enjoyable)

The way every other character talks gives the same feeling. There is apparently an Asian Elf with a modern Chinese accent, for example. Not the happy one from the trailers.

except you haven't played the game and I haven't played the game, but lets see DAO had two bisexual characters, a non binary character, multiple races, made by people of multiple backgrounds and sexuality, criticizes the church, capitalism and greed, nope not seeing it, and considering you are referring to two different franchises one literally talking about slavery and a box office failure when it released and the other a commercial success and solely about capitalism and social class wealth, and get this taking place in two different societies about forty years apart, you seem to miss the point that society evolves in a decade or so

Characters who have a personality not based on being a jackass just for the sake of being a jackass? Awesome!
Actually meaningful party character plotlines that aren't just weird additional power fantasy chances? Sounds good!
