Can I play this game straight?
Or will I be forced to engage in lgbtq dialog and activities?

In game you can, however if you read the EULA, you are agreeing to engage in gay activities with the whole dev team. Naturally.

Nope. You'll be forced to respect one of your companion's transition and agree to use their new pronouns.

this obviously is the best answer here

its pretty clear from the videos and screen caps that u will be prompted to validate NPC transitions. Id assume not validating said NPC will result in a negative outcome. Even tho everything someone does shouldn't always be validated, and is sometimes a symptom of something much worse. Just think if someone said they want to die, and someone said, "go do it! live ur best life! errr, umm.."

You also have to play as transgender for secrets, additional quests, 100% etc so that's already improvement over most games out there

YUP you are forced, there is no way to avoid it, one of your companions is leeched into the story, you can't even tell them to bugger off, ALL your dialogue options despite if they sound violent or rude, the actual dialogue makes sure NOT to hurt anyones feelings, Taash is single handedly the worst character in the dragon age universe and thats saying something.

Gender-identity dialogues are, apparently, unavoidable, as they're integral to the lore and character development.

You can, as a straight person, play it. But you'll be recurringly exposed to a considerable amount of lore and dialogues involving Taash and Neve talking about gender ideology, and you'll be limited to paragon responses when addressing these themes with the dialogue wheel.

LMFAO, you might be right, I wouldn't be surprised if theres an achievement tied to dialogue choices..

Unironically, I think you’ll probably have to pay close attention to the dialogue and decline most options to make that possible. The game will likely try to push you in that direction whenever it can. Even BG3 was a bit like that, and this game looks to be even more leaning into that direction.

Judging from the leaked dialogue and scripts, you can't avoid most situations with Taash, as that character is directly tied to the main story and you have to deal with them going through some gender indenty/midlife crisis... its gonna be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥..

There was a screenshot with "unlock you inner trans" or something like that, and there was a text on that screenshot that if you do "unlock", it will also unlock unique game content, such as quests and dialogue. Or something like that

I will probably die at the spot if you click to transition and an achievement pops up.

I think it's just unique dialogue. Which doesn't look like it would be required for a platinum
