[No DAV Spoilers] Hear me out about... Spite (and Lucanis romance)

Please, just hear me out, don't judge me!

Well, you know, at some point I felt that Spite had more chemistry with Rook than Rook with Lucanis. And I realized that I wouldn't be against a romance with Spite (yeah, he is a spirit of determination, but I know games where this is not a problem at all). Especially if Rook is a mage (they're connected to the spirits and demons since childhood anyway). And it's so cute when Rook talks to him and patiently explains something without attacking. Like "well, yes, people are slow sometimes, and many do not accept possessed humans, so just be patient." And Spite often wants to talk to the Rook, goes to them for help, is angry at Solas for hurting Rook, and even in the intimate scene with Lucanis, he hides them with his wings (Lucanis doesn't control the wings, it's Spite's work).

So this would definitely be an interesting romance option (or a choose between Lucanis and Spite, 'cos they are two different personalities after all). You see, Rook is like a stalker in Lucanis romance. They flirt and get nothing in return, only pie (?) and that makes them officially a couple (???). I dunno, maybe you could at least speak and suggest to take your relationship to another level? They don't even have a single moment to just talk and get to know each other.

And all these LI/LI or LI/NPC romance. Ugh. If you want to bring your characters together so badly, write books. Because a lot of players don't like that in their games. We can't even influence it negatively and I don't want to feel like a third wheel. It's a game. A game focused on romance, so let me at least be the one and only at least in fantasy game. Sheesh.
The funniest thing is that when he romances Neve. she says that Lucanis done it before (he cooked her another pie before) and he himself was looking for an excuse to talk to her quite late at night. So it was like a courting thing for quite some time. But with the MC it's literally: Here, eat. And now we're a couple, ok.
Ehhh and here I was hoping for a beautiful, romantic courtship from Crows member. We could have sat on the roof at least, I don't know, robbed some harmful rich guy. What a lot of wasted potential.

I like Spite too. Coming off the Emerich (he calls me Darling in combat, so cute) romance and previous experience with Zevran, Lucanis was a let down except for the love making wings scene. It would have been so much more interesting to romance Spite or try to any way.

I also hate companions getting together. It's an ick for me.

I thought that too, that Spite was more willing to get to know Rook than Spite was. I felt like it was like pulling a tooth out to get any kind of response from Lucanis lol. I think it would be hard to be with Spite while in Lucani's body. It does have an appeal, like the same thing that most of us liked Anders for.

I don't think I'll ever romance Lucanis again, it was a let down for me too. Mind you, I don't need any raunch scenes like in BG3, but just something cute would have been nice. Some more coffee shop trips or anything. I'm eager to try the others now.
