Fen'Harel & Evanuris Altars...

I'm trying to get these for the achievement, but even though my map says I haven't collected them all, they don't actually appear on my map. Not sure if this is a bug or if I'm missing something. Anyone else experiencing this?

I don't think so. I've explored all areas of each map and unlocked all the fast travel beacons, as well as collected most chests, so you'd think they'd show up on the map.

Might be story related then, like a quest adds to the map or change it.

It's possible, although I'm at the point of no return, having maxed every faction and done all their quests.

If its just a few, then probably behind the point of no return, yeah. Assuming there is not a trigger for more quest, you havent done. Like you skipped a time one.

Yeah, you're probably right. Also, it's possible that areas which are now closed due to the quest being done might have had statues which I missed.

You have to find them all before the Point of No Return.

It is possible one or more might have been in a mission-only area, but I'm pretty sure they are all in the regions' open areas once you've unlock all the maps. The world and region maps shows how many you are missing in each region, should help you narrow down where to search.

My last two were in Rivain Coast after completing Taash's storyline, for example.

Problem is, once you clear one it disappears from the map entirely, so there's no way to track which ones you've done already (unless you remember, which I don't).

Unfortunately, that's true. I had wished for completed markers myself, would have saved me some time.

I finally got this achievement the other day. There are some that you won't find until Act 3 due to the areas being locked behind story progress. Good luck!

-They only appear when you are close to them. As with chests, the mini map will glow blue, and a small symbol indicating if it is a chest or altar will show up underneath it.
-Area might still be locked.
-If nothing helps, google for it. There are many guides with maps for the chests and altars on the net.
