Can I custom create my own charicter?

Hello,

Can I create my own character (like in Skyrim) in this game? Also, how LGBTQ is the game? Is it a major story engine or is it a comment in passing, etc?

There is a character creator yes. There are many options to choose for making faces and some of the most beautiful hairstyles I have ever seen in a game - they are amazing in game as well. Some have complained that there is not enough variety of body type - personally I found what was given to be fine.

You can create your own character, there are some really amazing Rooks. You can find a few here in the Show Your Rook thread:

The LGBTQ+ stuff is minimum, the average run of the game is 40-60 hours. My first one was 100+ hours since I did everything. There is a character whose story deal with LGBTQ+ topics, but if you're not comfortable with it you can skip their story and still get a good ending.

You can create your own character. How LGBTQ this game is, depends on how you look at it. I wouldn't say it's a major story engine but it's also not a comment in passing. It's definitely somewhere in between.

One of the companions is non-binary and the personal mission for that particular companion is an awkward coming out story. And there's another scene where you get educated on how to punish yourself for using the wrong pronouns. And there's a handmirror where you can confirm (or not) your transgender identity.

But more to the point, you have to be the good guy and you can't do anything bad in this game. Your conversation choices and decisions are very and I mean very safe and non-offensive. At least from a certain pov. I find that whole safeness thing offensive myself.

Many cut-scenes your custom character will revert back to its initial pre-generated modeled (it is annoying and requires you to go back to the customization mirror to get your custome characteristics back.
