What have they done.
They have destroyed the essence of dragon age. They have taken away what helps make the game and replaced it with flop. 1st) they removed the crafting; I loved crafting my own armors and weapons by hunting for the right ores or hides to get the desired outcome you wanted. The crafting of potions and poisons. Now it is armor and weapons that just look generic and no imagination to flops. Some are good but 90% is not and to many look the same. 2) In Inquisition and some past DLC they gave you building and upgrading. Now you can place cheap items in your room because all of your companions have well integrated and upgraded as you go rooms to fit them. 3) The romance was a flop, a Binary Qunari, a whinny dwarf, a boohoo for me elf who to me had more going on with her dead brother, and a woman who just thanks she all it. 4th) the skill system needs some work, how you give ice, lightning, and necro mages and yet leave out a specialty for fire. 5th) all your companions are just way too nice and agree with whatever you say or do. Use to you had to watch how you said or did things to not make them mad. That brought a fun part to it. They have added in some fun stuff like the crossroads and few other stuffs but to leave out or take out some of the things that help make the game just is bad.

1) Crafting is still there, just different.

2) How did building fit into Dragon Age? Choosing themes, maybe, but not fleshed out building options.

3) Romance has always been bad. The previous companions just had more "personality" when you courted them...

4) Skill system is one of the best, for current action based game style. Yes, I also want Fire mage, but what can you do?

OP,,I have to agree with you about point #5. In DA:O, it was possible for companions to literally reach their breaking point and leave the party if they disagreed with the PC. In DA:I, you could refuse to recruit Cole by telling "demon boy" to take a hike and get lost. Also in DA:I, many companions were optional to recruit, not mandatory.

Inquisition you had choices for mage tower or templar. The stables and other stuff.

Think we had the stone magic in DAO, with Shade. Or was the stone golum with soul, a different type of magic, then what Harding unlocks?

You could also argue that enchanting, is a form for magic. But thats not stone based, but Lerium based, from memory.

You could make Cassandra drink herself stupid and feel bad about herself as with other companions. You could make them hate your character more. You know, with only Jin there isn't any Yang. I mean...the whole factions, companions & rook , there isn't any nuances in personality. But in the end...i am happy that people are happy with this. I go back to the old DA games, i know for sure i got some more fun with it while rpg my way through Thedas meeting old friends

It's one thing to not own the game and complain about it, it's another to blatantly lie. I played on EA, there is other ways to play instead of straight out buying. How else would I know what is in the game.

5th) all your companions are just way too nice and agree with whatever you say or do.

- Lucanis does in fact, not agree with whatever you say or do. He WILL get upset with you if you choose minrathous over treviso, in fact, he'll get in a fight w/ davrin.
Does he leave or stay, Just like the post above points out, In DA:O, it was possible for companions to literally reach their breaking point and leave the party if they disagreed with the PC. In DA:I, you could refuse to recruit Cole by telling "demon boy" to take a hike and get lost. Also in DA:I, many companions were optional to recruit, not mandatory.

3) The romance was a flop, a Binary Qunari, a whinny dwarf--

..I'm sorry, a whinny dwarf? or a whiny dwarf? because both are wrong. harding is literally realizing she can do magic, something dwarves could never do until inquistion. bc, titans.

. 2) In Inquisition and some past DLC they gave you building and upgrading. Now you can place cheap items in your room because all of your companions have well integrated and upgraded as you go rooms to fit them

no, they didn't. they gave you decorations, and the option to upgrade 3 parts of skyhold, that's it, lmao. -You upgraded and also was given the choice of Templars or mage tower.

( taking a look at it, it seems you don't own DAI either. )
Is all your games on steam, hmm think this game originally was console before PC.

that's cool and all but are you gonna address the other points i made or..?
I did it just added one by it's self the others are right after what you say. Let's also not for get in Awakening you where given options to rule over where to send troops to guard and to choose on other issues like a court room.

no, i just see you saying you own it on a different console. in which case, maybe start with that? a majority of people on the forums actually own the games on PC. :p

i don't see you addressing any of these.

-------my answer is here ------->Does he leave or stay, Just like the post above points out, In DA:O, it was possible for companions to literally reach their breaking point and leave the party if they disagreed with the PC. ..I'm sorry, a whinny dwarf? or a whiny dwarf? because both are wrong. harding is literally realizing she can do magic, something dwarves could never do until inquistion. bc, titans. -----answer here-----> All she does is complain on how her ancestors were treated, ignoring the fact the elf's whole history was a lie to them and the slavery they went through.

------again answer is here----->You upgraded and also was given the choice of Templars or mage tower. You could change the Decore to the point even the throne.

that does not address literally any of the points i made. esp since building was literally not mandatory at all. in fact, there was, again, barely any building. just upgrades.

comment on 5th point

How does it not in one your party could disagree with your choices and permanently leave the party. You could ask them to leave. In another you were given choices to recruit or not. Here it is your stuck with them no matter what you choose they do not leave. Which makes you feel like your choices has no consequences.

3rd romance
Harding complains way to much on her people and the way they were treated because the death of the Titans, Yet ignores that the whole history of elves was a lie and they were put into slavery over what Solas did.

Yes building was not mandatory but it added a fun aspect to the game to reshape your area and hunt for the materials to do so.

After this disaster, I don't want anything to do with EA. I have seen far better studios collapse for far better material. EA is going on a permanent boycott list.

I like the game, idgaf. It's got ME2's fingerprints all over it.

Don't get me wrong the game has its fun stuff and is enjoyable, I just wish they had not removed other stuff that to me help make it more enjoyable. It also would be nice if they did not force other agendas, They have had the LGBQT+ stuff in it from the start, until now they did not force you to take part in it. Now with Taash you either force to play it and only give supportive answers or leave out a chunk of game play ( or can you just not run her quests and still progress like with the others),

The armor is the furthest thing from generic. A lot of it, in particular the helmets, are actually extremely silly. Most of the weapons aren't that goofy, but there are still a few offenders that err drastically on the fantastic + silly side.

You can, and should, upgrade your equipment both in terms of tier and in bonus.
