Thank you.
Do you have the game linked to your EA app?
I just did a quick test with the app open and it still didn't show up for me. I have the app but it's pretty much never running unless i've played the Sims or when I was playing DAI. The app is installed but just not running most of the time. But that's not to say it can't be related. It just doesn't appear for me.
It's a weird one to be sure. Not sure why it happens to some people and not to others.
Hope those people who can't get past the screen get a fix at least. They do seem to be putting out fixes so, I hope people have made bug reports about it.
You might have added your account to your Steam Account, which it shouldn't be an issue unless you don't want EA to have your data (which is under your settings tab if you want to turn off them accessing that data).
That might be why you're seeing it. If you have the share data on even if you didn't connect your account it is still connecting to their servers to give them that data.
You'll probably have to turn it off due to which has been said 1) Connected your account to your EA account or 2) Sending your data to the EA servers to aid them in crashes, glitches, etc.
My suggestion though, if you didn't do the first option, is simply make sure you turn off the data share which was on for me by default (not sure if that is the case if you opted not to link your account). That would be why you may be getting that message. Hope that helps, because that is the best I can surmise from observation and your responses. :)
To be clear; I don't have any problems with this "feature". I just wondered if it was in place for possible future purchase functionality.
It might. Always possible. I know many are saying there probably won't be a DLC, but they did for Inquisition. They can always add more content if they think there is money in it and a demand for it.
I think the devs said even before release they weren't going to add any dlc. But... it IS EA. And we all know how much EA likes money. Lol. I'm defo not against any DLC but I do wonder what kind of content it would be.
Maybe the rest of you could start a thread about what you would like to see done if they decide to do one.
stop being a bully... this ain't misinformation, it happens in my game as well
I would love the promise of more content. I am taking the game slowly and really enjoying it.
Which is why I apologised when I realised it wasn't love.
Is another Dragon Age game really confirmed so far?
Some developers like to get stats about the decisions players made, for instance -- e.g. race/class preferences, which companions were taken on what missions, etc.
