Veilguard is a massive SUCCESS cry about it!
Right now, The Veilguard sits at a strong 84 on review aggregate site Metacritic, which is about on par with previous entries in the Dragon Age series. The original Dragon Age: Origins scored an 86, while Inquisition landed close at 84. Meanwhile, Dragon Age II, perhaps the most divisive game in the series, holds a 79. Despite some mixed reviews here and there, The Veilguard is a massive success, both critically and commercially, with impressive sales numbers reflecting a strong reception from fans. Some reviewers, like YouTuber ENDYMIONtv and Asmongold, express dissatisfaction, openly stating they “do not recommend” it. But this divisiveness is to be expected. What are fans so split on? Well, it seems, just about everything. After a decade of shifting between fan and skeptic, I was unsure if The Veilguard would win me back. However, The Veilguard pulled me back when I couldn’t have been more doubtful. The slow-burn story had me genuinely thrilled by its finale, and the new cast of heroes climbed into my personal top ranks of BioWare’s RPG casts. Although the game deviates from the series’ tactical roots, its action-based combat is a blast, offering fresh ways to experiment. Ultimately, The Veilguard feels like a return to BioWare's heyday, both a nod to what the studio does best and an undeniable success in its own right.

Comparing any of the DA to Origins is a joke but comparing to Veilguard is pure comedy.

At least with the 'Return to form' nonsense you can see who the paid or suspect reviews are.

So it's now considered a "good game" if Metacritic says it is, regardless of how it plays?

Makes sense since the the majority who play it enjoy it. I'm now watching other people play it, just for their reactions. ;p

It couldn't even hit 100k players, lol, even Farming Simulator 25 managed that, 120k to be more precise. Who knew that forcing your rotten ideology would turn people away from your game, huh?

Stop trying to farm clown points. You're not going to get any.
